I support the trainees when doing collections for WE CAN. I am responsible for the van runs to a variety of locations to organisations/businesses to collect material for our Recycling unit. This includes emptying clothing banks, collecting cardboard, plastic, cans etc.
When doing van collections, I support the trainees in interacting with members of the public when collecting their waste materials. With the provision of support for the trainees, alongside this I coach the members in the skills required for the job, which in turn prepares them for future employment.
