Senior Skills Coach

Clare has been with CAN for 14 years now. She works as a Senior Skills Trainer, working directly with the trainees helping them to achieve work and volunteering opportunities at the end of their placements. Clare is responsible for the management and implementation of the We Can 3 Programme, working with the individuals, reviewing and monitoring progress in order to benefit them in the best way possible. She also manages the recruitment of trainees to the We Can 3 Project, overseeing all placements employability and vocational training courses for the trainees.

“The trainees gain confidence and job satisfaction through doing something worthwhile in the community. In CAN I’ve had a lot of different job roles –  I really enjoy working directly with the trainees, I see them everyday and that’s my favourite part of the job.”
